Christmas Tree Festival
Next dates
Worcester Cathedral’s Christmas Tree Festival returns from 4 December to 6 January, featuring more trees than ever from schools, charities, community groups and local businesses, with visiting hours running 10am–5pm Monday to Saturday and 12.30–3pm on Sundays (plus 9am–12pm on Christmas Eve and closed for visiting on Christmas Day).
New for this year are Dedication Trees, allowing visitors to honour someone special with a real miniature tree displayed in the Chapter House for £55, complete with a personal message and decorative topper, which can then be taken home in January.
The festival also includes free Relaxed Visiting Hours on selected mornings (13, 20, 22 and 23 December, 9:10–10am), offering a quieter, less crowded experience for those with sensory or accessibility needs.
With added space in a marquee on College Green and expanded capacity for participants, this year’s festival is set to be the biggest and most meaningful yet.
