"My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loved her time with Team Super Sports! The coaches were friendly, patient, and made every session so much fun. She came home excited after every class, talking about what she learned and the new friends she made. It’s wonderful to see a program that keeps kids active, confident, and smiling the whole time. Thank you, Team Super Sports, for creating such a positive and encouraging environment - we’ll definitely be back!" - Derya - Oct 25
"My two daughters (ages 5 and 8) have attended Team Super Sports in Solihull for several years now — especially my 8-year-old, who absolutely loves it! They always have such a fantastic time, with so many sports and activities on offer, including hockey, gymnastics, and more. The coaches are brilliant — friendly, enthusiastic, and great with the children. My girls always come home happy, tired, and full of stories about what they’ve done that day. They actually ask to go every school holiday, which says it all!" - Monique - Nov 25
FAQ - Super Sports Holiday Camps
Below are answers to common questions about Team Super Sports holiday camps and programmes.
Does Super Sports welcome children with SEN or disabilities? Yes. Super Sports Camps aim to provide an inclusive, supportive environment where all children can enjoy being active, build confidence and have fun during the school holidays. Contact the Team Super Sports team for further information or to discuss your child's needs.
What happens at drop-off? Children must be signed in each morning by a parent or guardian at the designated registration point. For safeguarding reasons, children cannot be left unattended in the car park.
Does my child need to bring sports equipment? All standard sports equipment is provided. However, for certain activities:
- Cricket nets – children should bring their own protective pads and helmet.
- Hockey – shin pads and a mouth guard are required.
Can my child stay with a friend or sibling? Yes. Children are free to choose their activities for each session, so they can select the same sport as their friend or sibling if they wish to stay together.
Are there breaks during the day? Yes. After each coaching session, there is a short break (approximately 15 minutes). This gives children time to:
- Have a snack
- Refill water bottles
- Use the toilet
- Enjoy some informal play
After the break, they select their next activity.
Does Super Sports accept childcare vouchers? Most major childcare voucher schemes are accepted. If a family’s provider is not currently registered, they can contact the office to arrange this.
What qualifications do the coaches have? All staff are experienced and appropriately qualified. Many have competed or coached at advanced levels. Each sport is led by a designated coach, typically holding Level 2 qualifications or above.
Are the camps Ofsted registered? Yes. Camps for younger children are Ofsted registered, meaning they meet required standards for safety, welfare, and staffing. This also allows families to use eligible childcare payment schemes.
What activities are included? Programmes vary by age group:
- Younger children enjoy a mix of sports, games, and structured play.
- Older children and specialist camps focus more on skills development and sport-specific training.
If parents have additional questions, they are encouraged to contact the Team Super Sports team directly for further information.
