Step back in time and immerse your whole family in the Castle’s rich history this summer with hands-on activities like rag rugging, dressing up, and exploring real historical objects. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 29th July to 28th August, experience interactive demonstrations in the Scullery and Laundry rooms, including boot cleaning, washing, and butter patting. Activities will vary throughout the summer, encouraging families to visit multiple times. Plus, from 29th July to 31st August, relax in deckchairs in the Orchard Area while the kids enjoy Sandpit Fun with toys and games, bringing a beach vibe to the Castle grounds.
